PolyMind AI ("we", "our", or the "bot") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle data.

1. Data Collection

We do not store personal chat history and we do not read ordinary server messages. Message content is processed only when you explicitly interact with the bot, specifically:

• Direct Messages (DMs) you send to the bot
• Messages that @mention the bot
• Text and options you provide in slash commands (for example /ask)
• The specific message you select when using a message context-menu action (for example Apps → Check message)

Content from those interactions may be sent to AI providers (Google Gemini or xAI Grok) to generate a response. We do not permanently store message text on our servers.

2. Data Usage

Data is used solely to provide AI-generated responses and related bot features. We do not sell or share your data with third parties except for the AI processing mentioned above.

If you use /remember, we store the facts you choose to save so the bot can personalize replies. You can clear those facts with /reset memory or /reset all.

3. Usage Analytics

We collect anonymous usage statistics (such as which commands are used and which servers are most active) to improve the bot and monitor reliability. This includes Discord user IDs and server IDs stored temporarily for analytics — not message content. Events are automatically deleted after 90 days.

4. Security

We use industry-standard encryption to protect data in transit. Our hosting environment (Azure) is secured with modern safety protocols.
